Jacqui heads out for a swim, and the air temp is like 33 but the water is straight out of the rock, so..... a  bit refreshing water temp

We're not the only ones here, it is a popular spot with the spanish

Tarbena

Jac's and I head into the mountains for a day, and we stop at Tarbena, in the hope we find a place for lunch

and we stumble upon world famous Casa Pinet ( Pinet's house )

Pinet is a very focal supporter of socialist issues

And his wife makes a great Paella

Ofcourse we finished it off with some spirit and coffee

That was great, now we head off in search of a river for an afternoon swim

BBQ on the beach in Xabia

We decided to head down to the beach for a little barbeque, it's the thing to do at one of the beaches, all the towns people turn up on sunset, they bring all there tables and chairs, and baskets of food, as soon as the sun sets the food come sout, and then they stay on drinking, sounds like fun ..no ?

Oh yeah, they call this a beach, but pebbles will do apparently

Lunch trip to Calpe

Thought we'd check out Calpe, was told there is an artist sort of center, but it all looked pretty much like a typical Spanish seaside tourist town, unless I was on the wrong streets

Should have gone for a snorkel down there instead

I'm loving all these old doors

I wonder how often these two have sat down here for a chat

Nice little town, but as usual, all the sights around here are ruined by these unsightly cables, and you see them everywhere  ( note to Spain....cable...underground..= mo bien )

No words are needed for these pictures, all I'll say is that I saw these buildings from the airplane a few years ago, and I been wanting to check them out for a while now, and now that I'm here, I definitely want to do a production here ! !!!
