First night in Tropical Queensland

EUR_8495sonnyFrom the airport at Townsville it's still a good 6 hours to Cairns, so we stopped at Lees pub with no beer in Ingham for the night EUR_8496sonnythe hotel was basic but tidy and clean, plus the beds were very comfortable ( all you need for a quick sleep when you are on the road between point a and point b ) EUR_8498sonnyplus this family room also had 3 single beds, so the kids did not have to share EUR_8499sonnyEvan finds out about the local attractions EUR_8500sonnyPoet Dan Sheahan, arriving at his local pub during WWII, which had been drunk dry by american soldiers, amazed his pub had no beer he wrote a peom, which later became a famous australian country song sung by slim dusty, the pub with no beer EUR_8502sonnyLees Pub
