Big Dump, well by Belgian standards anyway

Just as I left Granny, the tiniest of flakes were falling, I hoped more would come, and as I drive to Antwerp to check up on my pictures at the printers, this is what it looked like View from the printers While the pictures are being printed I meet up with Emmanuel at RA for lunch, and this is what Kloosterstraat looks like right now, awesome. See, normally when it snows, it is still just below zero, and more than likely been raining few days before hand so the snow melts as it lands, whereas this time, it has been dry for quite a few days and been hovering at an average of minus 8, so this time the snow is staying put car after an hour lunch after lunch, driving back to the printers, and have a bad feeling traffic is going to be pretty bad this afternoon after 5 normally all these terraces would be full of people in summer, even the odd 2-3 table sin winter, not today Snow outside Ann Demeulemeester shop
street to the printer, and road still white, this in a big city, love it but now the shit starts :-) After picking up my prints, its finish work time and everyone in their car on the snow Traffic jam not looking any better down there on the highway ok, heading home on the highway, trip usually takes me between 15-20 min, took over an hour this time

A Shaded View On Fashion Antwerp Academy Editorial Prize winner Jantine Van Peski

So back in June, when I was in Antwerp for the Antwerp Academy shows, Diane ( Ashadedviewonfashion ) & I annually give out a prize to one of the master students that we believe is a most editorial looking collection Diane has the final casting vote, especially see-ing as she was on the jury this year.
So may i present the winner, Jantine Van Peski Here are the pictures from backstage on the night of the show So one sunny afternoon in Antwerp, we grabbed one of the academy models, Nai-Sam and headed across the river Schelde at Antwerp to take these pictures make up by Selena Verbaenen It took me a while to bring these photos to you As it took me a while to do all these photo shop effects, I wanted to create this film bleed or light blled that I had seen on some surf films and it was not as easy as I had hoped main thing is, we had fun doing the photos, and Jantine was just wonderful to work with as well The aim of this prize is that Diane and I felt that the wonderful students need a tool to get them some extra exposure, Here is the post on Diane's blog And then This Is Paper picked up the story as well as Dutch Glamcult.

Frederik Hornof collection shoot

Shooting Fred's collection today, I shot his 3rd year collection last year as well, and wanted to shoot this collection as well and then later this afternoon I shoot Jantine's collection as part of the Shaded View on Fashion Editorial prize

Frederik was lucky to be able to use this amazing space for his presentation. The entrance hall to the Royal museum of Art in Antwerp, lucky not only because of it's awesomeness of space, but because it has closed down for renovations, and apparently won't be open again for some time Diane snaps some shots, she is on the jury this year
