Loving it

P3230072
Finally getting to try my waterproof camera I bought a month ago, and first test looks great

P3230073
I took it for a swim early this morning, I got up just before sunrise and went for a swim at Avalon, wasn'tmuch swell, so a swim instead of a surf, so I swam out the back and took these two snaps. Can't wait to take it ( the camera ) surfing with me, but I will need to work out how to keep it on me, as holding onto it all the time, and the little rope for around the wrist won't be secure enough. But finally, I'll be able to take some shots when I'm out in the water, the amount of times when I was sititng in the surf, waiting for the next set to roll in from the horizon, and something would catch my attention were I wished I would have had a camera on me, well, now finally I will be able to snap whatever it is

Antoine Debouverie

Miami_sculpture_2
A friend of mine, Antoine, sent me these shots a while back. I met Antoine last summer when we working together on a music festival project, I was shooting stills and he was shooting video. Looks like Antoine has been busy with this latest project. They made a similar one on the desert for the Burning Man festival ( still haven't been there ) where , at the end of the festival , they burnt it down, don't think they will do so here at Miami as well. He tells me they are at Chicago now, doing a similar project . As soon as he sends me shots from there I will post themMiami_sculpture_3Miami_sculpture_4Miami_sculpture_6Miami_sculpture_under_construction

Masters of Air @ PULP

Three decades of Nike Air.
At Nike, they decided to do something about that, and they think of their shoe more than just a shoe.
3 decades... time to put it into a historical context they thought.
Abstract ideas and principles were visually represented by the Dutch&Flemish master in paintings, so Nike air decided to do the same, and photographed their shoes in still life settings, very much like those paintings. And it is to be viewed at thePULP department store for free till the end of November

KID ROBOT

1022_image657

I was invited to an opening of Kid Robot's new exhibition, luckily was on the VIP list, as there was a big line outside to get in, and it is relativley warm in New York at the moment, so needed a drink

Now , what does this one remind you off. To me , it reminds of the rabbit from that great movie Donnie Darko

I'd say for Kid Robot, it was a success. I met up with Catherine Ongenaege , journalist from Belgium, she had to meet a friend in an hour , so we went to have a drink at her hotel, love the hotel she's staying at, the Tribeca Grand. Been here for drinks before, and would love to stay at this hotel
