so this was one of the reason to get back to Sydney pronto, to get behind the scenes shots of James Molloy doing his thing on the presenters for the ARIA ( australian music industry awards night ) that, and to see Jacqui & the kids again

so after travelling for 28 hours, racing home to Avalon to see the kids before they go to school, have some breakfast, back in the car and back to the city to go up to the plush rooms at the Darling hotel near the casino, one could have a worse job, even though I'm tired, feeling pretty lucky to have such a fun job, and meet and work with great fun people

So James and Jesinta Campbell ( did not know, but Jesinta turns out to be the Australian Finalist for Miss Universe competition, and she's a trooper )

as time goes on, more and more people are turning up, including TV crews. now I see why we are in this 3 bedroom pnethouse

Michael getting ready to put in some extensions

Sam is here as well

and kindred spirit Lanie Lane

Jesinta, nearly finished

done and she still has some time up her sleeve, so she's all like " Dear Diary " kidding

No, I think she's just writing some notes for what questions she will doing when she is interviewing some of the music and fashion stars when they turn up on the red carpet

what a great smile, and this is not a set up, this is genuine. Love girls with a good natural smile

Mi Mate Richard Cavanagh doing hair on Maud Garrett ( another tropper I had not met before )

more troopers :-) Nicole and Diane

Sam in make up

Lanie in make up

Maud. Yep....trooper :-)

quick bronze

ready

so's Maud :-)

Lanie nearly made up as well, everyone looking glam indeed

so every one is glammed up, dressed up and turning up in limousines at the awards, whereas Lanie, as she is pure class, turned up at the red carpet in a white 70's Kingswood, now that's class money can't buy, love it

Sam really has a great smile

she's ready

Jesinta doing her thing on the red carpet and looking great

and she has James close by for touch ups

Maud also looking great

So that was fun, thanks M.A.C. for getting me involved, enjoyed it and met some great people, but now time for me to head back home and get some real sleep in a real bed :-)
