Gardening

Taken full use of the good weather today, cleaned up the garden , and started planting lots of vegies, here you see the patch of strawberries, started of with 4 plants about 2-3 years ago, now there are close to a hundred, behind it I planted some stalk beans, and I will encourage them to grow up into the plum trea, can you already see the yellow fruit, and in the foreground here, 2 varieties of beans and some seet corn, but probably too late for the corn to grow fully, look at the field of corn behind, already getting close to 2 m

These orange flowers appeared from nowhere last year, so I spread the seeds a bit more and they are starting to pop up here and there

Mason Ho

Casey left for Bells and Mason Ho is stoked to be heading back to his home on the norht shore of Hawaii, he's also stoked to be going home, knowing he just came 3rd in the world junior championships, on the way to the airport in the car , he was telling me how stoked he was, he had a really good time in Australia,he's been here before ofcourse,  but it also just sunk in that he's going home with a great result, he tells me, that the Billabong pro junior world championship means a lot to all the competitors that entered, basically it was a fierce battle , every heat, as all wanted to do well in this comp, and he got 3rd.
So here he is at the airport, with all his boards and a big smile on his face. Was nice to meet you Mason, and hopefully I'll finally make it to the north shore some time soon.

A beautifull spot, right here on the Darwin wharf/Jetty, not a breath of wind on the water, super glassy, would be great to go wake boarding, but highly not recommend, sharks,crocodiles and dangerous , or rather deadly box jelly fish. so this time of the year you don't see anyone swimming in the ocean or on the beaches

I came back to the same spot in the afternoon, when there was a big strom brewing , typical for Darwin this time of the year, blue sky morning, clouds build up from the evaporation, big thunderclouds roll through, rains most of the night wake up to blue sky, perfect

Such a cool car, and the yellow colour against the sky, and parked on the jetty with the yellow markings, I went and had a chat with the guy, he's just having a day of and going fishing, I told him I liked his car, to which he replied " did you see the number plates "

Bath-time

Jac's just sent me these pics she took after the sunset drinks at Palm beach, the kids had to have a bath before they go to bed and i wanted to wash my feet, but the little buggers dragged me in fully clothed

Wish list

At the airport now, looking at duty free, and would love to have this little critter, can take it surfing with me and at 7.1 M pixels, not bad. The amount of times I'm sitting out in the ocean waiting for the next wave to come in, I see so many wonderfull sites, now with this camera I'll be able to record it. but still a bit pricey I think

Just been swimming again, and Suzanne is reading her book, I collected some more shells, and shot some more videos, which I will have to post another time
