Mystery Bay the next day

Just had to come back to see it in daylight 
lots of nice colours form all the moss on rocks as well no sand here just pebbles and moss covered rocks let's call it Mysteries Pebbly beach we're all photographers now love those flattened shells, would make nice buttons This is how we get smooth rocks and flattend shells













so many many shells on this pebbly beach that right hander trying to do it, and am thinking about it :-)

Mystery Bay on dark

We are staying at the lovely Mystery Bay Cottages, and at the end of the road , Mystery Bay, and as you can see, not a surfing beach with all those rocks ( but a beach called 1080 around the corner is where its suppose to happen ) bit of swell around too I can see people enjoying their walk along here

after we check in , we quickly get down to this other track that leads from the cottages to another beach right next to Mystery Bay trying out the camera's high ISO setting, it's pretty dark right now works ok ( be better if I had camera on a tripod ) works even better with Jacqui's video light :-)

Road kill

Jacqui just ran over a snake, we think it is a brown snake, one of the most aggressive snakes around, it will actually chase you and a very nasty bite that can kill you. We turned around to have a closer look at what she just ran over, and just as we went to take a photo it moved, she pretty much hit it on the head, but the rest was still alive :-)

Awesome Barrel at North Avalon

he's gonna remember this one for a while

Another lucky punter gets a nice barrel and then another freak set wave out the back cleans up everyone, big big wave, and as it breaks out so much further out the back than the other waves, there is no one ever out there to get it, and instead, everybody cops it on the head instead
This guy gets super lucky, why, cause he's on a twin fin, old skool 70's style
nice easy take off, easy to blo it on the bottom turn with that speed, doesn't , lines it up nicely for probably this guys best barrell this year , yew

Sandbar in the Pacific Ocean

After that little surf session our Captain, Maika, told us about this sandbar that will be exposed at low tide, so off we go lovely Evan plays beached whale while India and Jacqui go explore while Belle, being the good girl that she is, puts on more sunblock awesome, print please Evan, goes to join the girls

and to think at high tide it will be gone
