Great little town on the adriatic sea, this is only half of it, come to think of it, make that a third

And the sun is shining in Trieste, Italy.It's a nice 24 degrees, although I'm sure that thistime of the year it would normally be in the high 20's low 30's

That's fresh snow on the mountain there below, somewhere near Austria,probably Italy's Dolomites. And snow, just remember ,it is summer

Up and away, take me to the sun

Although with a stop over in grey ness, can you see the other plane going in to land as well

North Avalon Surfing Association are having their monthly club surfing competition. It was an awesome day, so there was a big turn out, add to that it getting dark earlier now, there was still 2 heats to go , so the last heat was still in the water on dark. I'm calling this the last day of Australian summer

Zoe Gillett

Remember Zoe, she did some shoots with me last year in Sydney and worked at Dolly magazine. Well she's travelling all around Latin America and has a blog so we can follow her travels.Just read her blog, and it really makes me want to go to Chile, Buenos Aires and Montevideo. So to get a taste of LAtin America from Zoe's point of view , check the blog, and I'm sure she will be trying to update it on a weekly basis

Full Moon

I promised Jacqui's kids that I would take them down to the beach to watch the moon rise, as it will be a full moon. Had not anticipated that it would be cloudy. We did get to see a glimpse of it, but then it dissapeared behind the clouds....bummer

Country fare

From Kerrie's to the highway is still a bit of a drive on country road through to peats ridge, and along the way there are stalls selling oranges, plums, pumpkins etc... and a box of tomatoes for 5 bucks, so I'm going to oven roast these with fresh basil,pepper, rocksalt and olive oil, low heat and long time , yummy

Time to head back to Syders

But not without stopping along the way at Crescent head , just to be sure I'm not going to miss out on some good waves again
