We are just about to do the last shot for today, and everyone is happy as it is only 2pm, so we all still have the afternoon to ourselves, Katie can go and be with her sick daughter again, Charlotte can keep her 3pm appointment, Sarah can get out of the sun, and I can go for a surf, great shoot today, we'll have a look at the results later
And the sun is pretty hot, even I had to put on some sunblock, and with the seabreeze,
Sarah's hair keeps drying pretty quickly. So time to wet it down again and again and again ...

sarah is a pretty keen girl as well, I asked her if she would be game enough to get up on the rock over there with the waves crashing over, no probs she said, as i know a few girls who wouldn'tdare to go there. A few waves did crash over, and even managed to splash my camera, so I will be giving it a thorough clean tonight with a wet soapy rag to try to get the salt splashes of
Right at the bottom of the cliff, in the shade, as both Charlotte and Sarah are of the fair skin variety and the sun is beating down today, as you can see , Katie is lapping it up, the sun and hard work that is :-)
Cute little rabbit is having a little sleep in the sun on the beach as well. Well not really, it's a dead rabbit, the council rangers have been baiting the headland with poison to try to cull the rabbit population on the grassy headlands, so to get the habitat back for the native animals that usually roam these headlands, and I guess this little one must have eaten some of the poison and then fallen of the headland. After this shot I buried it in the sand, no need for the sandflies to get to it and stink out this part of the beach.
Down at the beach now,Turrimetta beach, aka Little Narrabeen aka Sheep Station, just a short drive from Charlotte's place. Sarah and Katie here in the photo walking to the waters edge to wet Sarah's hair. Sarah has very thick heavy hair, so we decided to wet her hair
Katie's still not a wave girl yet, that's not her running forward, but running backwards. We'll get her out there on a board one day :-)

And we are doing some photos at the beach today, with Charlotte styling it, and Katie-Lee doing the make up, make up just about finished , keeping it pretty cleanon the skin, and a little bit of gold around the eyes.
I spread out some black fabric so I can then lay out the styling I brought with me, so Charlotte and I can go through the clothes and put together some styling
Couldn't do this in Europe right now, especially with palm trees
Surf is better here, and it's a nice sunny day
These little arrows I just quickly added on the photo, I did to show you where I usually go surfing. The arrow on the left shows the lefthander that breaks along the rocks, and when it is in prime working condition I just love this place, and that's where I lost my fin, the arrow on the right shows the right hand wave that is currently working el primo. It doesn't always workn this good and it's usually the left hand that works out the back, but the sandbanks are so right now, that there is a really nice section right there on that right hand wave . All the grommets are loving it, Ok , I'm out there
Stopped off at Bilgola beach to check the surf, hardly ever surf here, it's the beach just before Avalon, nice beach, but the waves just rarely seemed to break all that good here
I say casting , so I'm guessing you were not expecting to see a picture of Jason ( check out his t-shirt )
I used Jason cafe this time last year as well, it is his Vespa garage slash cafe,
and he lets me use his space to organise my casting here, as opposed to going around to the different agencies, and there's no way they will all come all the way up to the Northern beaches.
He loves his scooters, oooops, sorry , I mean original Vespa's, but he's also really into his classic cars, like this little beauty, original left hand drive Impala.
And this is Sofia Winberg, first model to come see us, yeah us, Charlotte is here as well to have a look at a few girls. Sofia is from Sweden, has been here for a few weeks and is loving it here, she was sighted by some one from Scene models , and has joined them , she hasn't got a book yet as she is that new. But Vikki, from Scene, suggested I look at her anyway, and she has a great personality(must be a swedish thing ? Stina ? ), streetsmart good looking , and great skin. After Sofia I saw about 25 more girls, but I was too busy chatting with them all to take a photo,explaining about the shoots that I want to and just generallyget to know them, but I got all their comp cards and details. There's certainly some great models in town ( isn't there always in Sydney ? )
