Bowraville creek
Quick check up on my house as we prepare to head back to Sydney, and all is looking good Of course not everything you plant will survive ( missing an avocado tree and bougainvillea) but this vanilla shade tree I planted about a year ago is rocking and afterwards, of course we have to go for a swim in our other fav spot, the creek in bowraville on missaboti road but we all are in a bit of a shock at the total devastation that has passed through here, with obviously a massive rainfall in the past year ( have not been here for a while ) Evan checks it out, this part of the creek, was not really that accessible before we parked the car where we always do, but before, we are now, we would not have been able to see the car, it's like a bomb went off and cleared all the vegetation Evan finds some snake skin ( so snakes around) just insane , look at all the rocks washed of the road down to the side Even damage the guard rail really does not look as appealing as the last we were here, my first thought was who exploded a case of dynamite here After our quick swim, we head back to Bowraville, to try out the healthy sandwiches at the cafe of the newly restored heritage listed cinema.
quite a bit of difference between the 'before' and 'after' shots. The place looks idyllic in the 'before' photos.
